Pure frankincense essential oil is a relaxing oil that can calm an overactive mind and aid concentration. It is an aid in the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and nervous tension. Frankincense can also ease sore, irritating skin, skin lesions or infected sores.
Frankincense essential oil blends well with many different essential oils including basil, black pepper, clarysage, geranium, ginger, lavender, lemongrass, marjoram, patchouli, rose and vetiver oils.
How to use:
In the bath – add 6-8 drops to a warm relaxing bath. Vegetable oil (15 mL) may also be added for a truly moisturizing experience.
Massage – add 3-5 drops of oil to a tablespoon for carrier oil (sweet almond, grapeseed, or choose from many others) to create a relaxing massage oil.
Diffusers – add 3-5 drops of oil to diffuser. If using a candle diffuser, add water to blending well to 3/4 full and maintain level at 1/4 to 1/2.
Caution: Do not take internally: keep away from eyes. Use sparingly. Keep away from children. If irritation develops, discontinue use.
